Al Qaeda ‘tourism’ — rearing its head again

It’s getting so you can’t believe anything  emanating from America, if you ever could.

There can no longer be any doubt about the  existence of Prism, if indeed there ever was.

Nor can there be any doubt about the veracity of Ed Snowden, the American whistleblower who first revealed the scope of the US spy system which has been plumbing the depths of treachery not only among its own citizens, but also governments and agencies around the world which’ve been haplessly supporting the US in both words and actions.

And this is being done behalf of Barack Obama, the former great White Hope  of Democracy, if you’ll pardon the expression.

I’m just this old guy in Canada with a blog, but I’ve been  nauseated by the twists and turns  of the Bush and Obama  administrations as they lie  their ways  through an ever deepening morass  of perfidy.

First it was George ‘Dubaya’ Bush  and his  weapons of mass destruction  and threats of ‘tourists’ (known to the rest of us as ‘terrorists’)  wreaking havoc on a helpless world with only the US to save it from destruction.

Now Al Qaeda ‘tourism’ is rearing its head again.

And I thought  we, or rather, the US,  had dealt with that when it’s warriors slaughtered
Osama bin Laden.

Now, in the latest installment, according to the New York Times,   “The Department of State alerts U.S. citizens to the continued potential for terrorist attacks, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa, and possibly occurring in or emanating from the Arabian Peninsula,” read the bulletin, by the State Department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs.

“Current information suggests that Al Qaeda and affiliated organizations continue to plan terrorist attacks both in the region and beyond, and that they may focus efforts to conduct attacks in the period between now and the end of August.”

“The bulletin did not advise against travel to any particular country, but it admonished American citizens to be particularly mindful of their surroundings, especially in tourist areas, and recommended that they register their travel plans with the State Department.

“Terrorists may elect to use a variety of means and weapons and target both official and private interests,” the bulletin said. “U.S. citizens are reminded of the potential for terrorists to attack public transportation systems and other tourist infrastructure. Terrorists have targeted and attacked subway and rail systems, as well as aviation and maritime services.”

Stay tuned for something similar from the Harper Boyz?
