‘Bye, Steve ….

The Calgary Cowboy, who took Canada for a long and painful ride on a raft of empty promises and ended up running things, won’t be trying for re-election as prime minister.

“I have listened to the people and they have spoken.

“It is clear they no longer wish me to lead Canada,” he says in a PMO announcement,

“In the interests of our Conservative Party and our country as a whole, It is time for someone else to take the helm to steer us.”

The 42nd Canadian federal election is tentatively slated for October, 2015, but, “growing citizen confusion”and “uncertainty”are the reasons for his sudden departure, his office spokesdroid told Dammit exclusively:

‘In light of the upserts we’ve experienced over the past few months it would be both both “politically incorrect and morally dishonest” to go on.

If only, eh?
