A while back the world was scandalised, or pretended to be, when a shot of Katrina Darling a cousin of of Kate Middleton, now the Duchess Catherine of Cambridge, and the wife of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine.
But she’s only a second cousin, let it be said.
Now the world is scandalised anew, or pretending to be, because a topless photo of Kate number One showed up in gossip magazine Chi, owned by former Italian premier Silvio Berlusconi.
Chi is part of Berlusconi’s publishing empire Mondadori, which also owns French magazine Closer, in which the pix also showed up.
The Chi cover, featuring three pictures of a topless princess, was unveiled Saturday in Italian newspapers and television under the headline “Court Scandal: The Queen is Nude!,” says the Associated Press, which also points out,
“The publication has been roundly condemned by British newspapers, which refrained from publishing them out of respect for the young couple’s privacy, even though tabloids like The Sun run topless women every day on page 3 and ran pictures of Prince Harry naked in Las Vegas last month.
Kate and William were on vacation at a relative’s private estate in southern France.
The other Kate stars in a burlesque routine which includes an “almost butt-naked rendition of God Save the Queen, says The Sun.
