Leon Panetta ends ban on women in front-line combat roles

bodBoadicea, American-style,  will soon be a reality following a decision by US Defence Secretary Leon Panetta who’s lifted the military’s ban on women serving in combat roles,  says the BBC.

The move, “potentially” opens hundreds of thousands of frontline positions to women,  it says.
