Those @#$%^& robot marketing calls!

callToday is the day  they’ll be judging  entries for the  Robo call challenge, as they’re calling it.

‘They’  is/are  the US Federal Trade Commission  and the winner  will be announced on April 15 at 2:00pm EDT.

The winner?  Yup.

The FTC  says it’lll award $50,000 for the best way to stop the unwanted sales calls.

The head of the commission’s consumer protection bureau, David Vladeck,  is quoted by CBS as stating, the FTC “is attacking illegal robocalls on all fronts, and one of the things that we can do as a government agency is to tap into the genius and technical expertise among the public.”

We could use this in Canada 😉
